Accessories We Should Not Live Without

The way we accessorize our outfits is what sets us apart but it takes a little time and effort to collect those pieces that will be versatile.  There is such a broad variety of products to choose from and over a few seasons you can easily find yourself with lots of random items! Creating your own collection of must have accessories can be expensive so don’t make mistakes and remember to only buy pieces that you love and will wear for years to come. There’s really no point in paying £200 for a belt just because you love that designer if its not going to give you 10 years of pleasure!

Our first thought when we decide on an outfit is often what jewellery to wear. You can invest in a costume jewellery statement ring that’s not too bold in colour which will then be a versatile piece for day or night.

Adding a necklace along with a statement ring gives a more dressed up look so decide which to wear if you want a more everyday casual look that’s not too overdressed. Plus we all need a perfect pair of studs… whatever your choice, whether it be pearl, diamond, silver or gold. They are definitely an essential!

The next thing I think about is do I need a belt with this outfit? Usually with jeans or trousers with belt loops that is always a yes! Investing in a quality belt is worth it if you can as belts are an easy way to up the game with your look.

Guess you probably already know what footwear you will choose but what we all really need is a good pair of Flats for the warmer months and great Ankle Boot for the winter months. Invest in that boot!  It will serve you and owe you nothing!

Everyone looks for the perfect handbag but it is such a dilemma to decide what direction to go. Don’t choose a crazy colour…unless of course, you totally fall in love with it!

A good structured bag is a perfect accessory. If you can afford to treat yourself to a ‘Hero bag’ and choose wisely you won’t regret it. A Hobo bag works for your daily essentials…work, lunch, shopping… giving enough room for all the items you need to carry around.

Last but not least –Sunnies! They can give a classic and strong visual statement. Choose a pair of sunglasses that suit your face shape and look amazing. Designer frames are quite affordable if you look in the right places. Add a classic tortoiseshell frame for cool sophistication or an Aviator style for that celeb look!
